Direct Debits are usually processed early in the morning on the agreed due date with the organisation you’re paying. Although the exact timing can vary, payments generally leave your account shortly after midnight.
To help ensure the payment goes through smoothly, please make sure there are enough funds in your account at the start of the day the Direct Debit is due. If there aren’t sufficient funds at that time, the payment might not be successful.
