An unpaid Direct Debit fee is applied when a Direct Debit on your account cannot be collected because there are not enough funds.
The fee depends on your account type:
Premium and Essential accounts: £5 per failed Direct Debit
Premium Plus accounts: £0.50 per failed Direct Debit
Each time a merchant tries to take a payment and it is declined, the corresponding fee will be applied.
