You can easily set up a standing order using the Suits Me mobile app. Here’s how to do it:
What You’ll Need:
The name of the person or company you’re paying
Their 8-digit account number and 6-digit sort code
A payment reference (usually provided by the recipient)
Step-by-Step Guide:
Open the Suits Me mobile app and log in.
Tap ‘Payments’ from the bottom menu.
Select ‘View Standing Orders’.
Tap ‘Setup Standing Order’.
If the payee is already saved in your account, select them from your Payee list and skip to step 9.
If not, tap ‘Add New Payee’.
Enter the recipient’s name, account number, and sort code. Re-enter your password and tap ‘Submit’.
You’ll be taken to the standing order setup screen.
Enter the amount, start date, end date, payment frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly), and payment reference.
Review all the details carefully.
Tap ‘Authorise Standing Order’.
Tap ‘Confirm’ to complete the setup.
Your standing order is now active and will begin on the selected start date.
Just a reminder to allow at least one full working day before your standing order begins.
