If your account has no money, it will stay active unless you choose to close it.
Before you start using it: There’s no fee, and the account remains open.

After you start using it: A Monthly Fee applies*, but if you have no transactions that month:
If your balance is £1.00 or more, the monthly fee is reduced to £1.00.
If your balance is less than £1.00, the monthly fee is reduced to £0.20.
If there’s no money in your account, we won’t charge a fee until you start using it again.
