What does Suits Me accept as proof of address?
Suits Me accepts the following documents as a way to confirm your residential address:
Valid full or provisional driving licence (UK, EU, EEA countries plus Switzerland)
Please note that if you provided this to confirm your identity than your driving licence cannot be used as a proof of address
DWP/Benefit Award Letter
Evidence of entitlement to a state or local authority-funded benefit (including housing benefit and council tax benefit), tax credit, pension, educational or other grants
It must be dated within the last 12 months and confirm your entitlement to the current or future benefits
Bank, Building Society, Credit Card or Mortgage Statement
It must be dated within the last 3 months. It must be issued by a regulated financial sector firm in the UK, EU or an equivalent jurisdiction
Please note that we cannot accept a statement if it was printed off the internet
Council Tax Bill
It must be related to Council Tax payable at your current address that we have on the file and for the current financial year
Utility Bill or Statement
It must be dated within the last 3 months, showing usage at your current address that we have on the file.
Court Appointment
An instrument of a court appointment such as liquidator or other grants of probate. It must be dated within the last 3 months, on headed paper
Rent or Tenancy agreement
Household property or contents insurance policy documents
It must be dated within the last 3 months
Confirmation letter from University for occupation of halls of residence
It must be dated within the last 3 months
Solicitor’s completion of sale advice
It must be dated within the last 3 months
